Megan Barton Hanson has revealed she was raced to hospital in Fiji during her time on Love Island Games after she struggled to stand up straight after her abdominal pain had been so bad.

The 29-year-old star explained that she hadn’t been having the best time in the villa, when she suddenly became overcome with a fever that lasted three days.

The stunning TV star was then whisked off for medical treatment, leaving fans wondering what happened.

At the time, Megan didn’t want to leave because she’d just had an awkward encounter with an old flame – Eyal Booker. “Shooting her shot”, the OnlyFans beauty tried to win him over with her famous “give me a kiss” charm, but he’d already coupled with someone else.

Not only had Megan been knocked back by an ex of hers, she’d then found herself seriously unwell and had no escape to just be sick.

The online content creator felt so unwell that she couldn’t even sleep in her own bed and instead took to the sofa each night.

Speaking to Daily Star, Megan said: “It was the worst timing Eyal came into the villa and I was super excited because I didn’t really have anyone else I’d had a spark with because I was coupled up with a girl – which was more like a friendship kind of vibe ultimately.

He came in and even though he was coupled up, I shot my shot, I was like ‘Come on give me a kiss’ my famous thing.”

She went on: “And then everyone was getting food poisoning out there because obviously Fiji it’s different water, it’s just different everything, at first I thought it was food poisoning but by day three of it, it was not good and you don’t want to be in a villa full of hot people needing to use the bathroom constantly. ”

The situation went from bad to worse, with sick Megan seemingly not making much improvement over the 72-hour period. The OnlyFans star went on to explain: “I was sweating.

I couldn’t even stand up straight because I had such bad abdominal pain and then they wanted to keep me in the hospital over there but I was like ‘nah just get me home.”

Even though Megan had became very sick and needed medical intervention, she was adamant that she didn’t want to leave because of the poor timing, having just been rejected by her past flame Eyal.

Megan continued: “But I couldn’t believe the timing and I’m so stubborn and I was like ‘I don’t want to leave because it’s going to look like Eyal pied me and I’m just running away’.

“It was super annoying because everyone in there knew that I was super ill and that I was out sleeping on the sofa because I had such a bad fever.

But to the viewers it literally looked like I got pied and I went ‘oh well I’m off then’.”
