In the early hours of February 16, it came out that Swift had given $100,000 to the Lopez-Galvan family through a GoFundMe account. Swift wrote a note to the family along with the donation that said, “Sending my deepest sympathies and condolences in the wake of your devastating loss.” “Love, Taylor Swift”
“This fund has been set up to help the family of Lisa Lopez-Galvan,” it says on the GoFundMit page. Lisa was celebrating the Chiefs’ Super Bowl win when she was killed for no reason. She leaves behind two kids and her husband of 22 years. She was a wonderful wife, mother, daughter, sister, aunt, cousin, and friend to many. Because we are still sad about her death, please keep her family in your prayers. This fund will help her family get the money they need as they deal with this terrible tragedy. Any amount would be great.”

The Kansas City Star says Lisa Lopez-Galvan was a well-liked DJ and a loved mother of two. As of Thursday morning, police had still confirmed only one death, even though some news sources said two people had died yesterday afternoon.
Lopez-Galvan’s friends told The Kansas City Star that she had died and that the mother of two died while she was in surgery. Lopez-Galvan had a gunshot wound in her stomach.
Lisa Lopez, Lopez-Galvan’s friend, told The Kansas City Star, “She was the most wonderful and beautiful person.” “She was a DJ in the area. She was in all of the weddings. Everyone knows her. She had so much life in her.”
